On December 18, KEDA (Anhui) Clean Energy successfully commissioned two 40kNm³/h clean coal gasification units in Kalimantan Island, Indonesia. These units provide heat energy for the 1000Kt/an alumina production at Indonesia's Mempawah Alumina Smelter, the country's first state-owned alumina facility. KEDA (Anhui) Clean Energy handled the entire gas plant's design, supply, and installation guidance, using its independently developed modular cascaded waste heat clean coal gasification technology.
KEDA (Anhui) Clean Energy has established an engineering company and warehousing facilities in Indonesia to support its operations. To date, the company has successfully launched seven coal gasification units in the country. Among these, five 40kNm³/h units for PT. Bintan Alumina Indonesia began operations successively since 2021 and have maintained stable performance.
