The refurbished machinery completed in the first five months alone surpassed the total output of the previous year, with total sales revenue from refurbishment projects increasing by 100% year-on-year.
Following nearly a year of meticulous collaboration with its Indian team, the Chinese management team has significantly boosted efficiency and improved repair quality through measures such as remote online technical support.
The output speed of individual machinery has seen a remarkable 30% increase. To meet the regional differentiation demand of "affordable yet high-quality" in the local market, the Chinese management team from KEDA India and the technical team from KEDA Ceramic Machinery Spare Parts Services Division have innovated extensively in technology, processes, and business models, garnering considerable market acclaim.
KEDA's polishing & squaring machines hold a market share of 80-90% in the Indian market. Given this high market penetration, there is significant potential for refurbishment and modification of polishing & squaring machines that have been in use for over 10 years.
Many customers are aware of KEDA India's capability to refurbish and renovate old machines, and they intend to send their old machinery to the factory for refurbishment. Through word-of-mouth, KEDA India has successfully transitioned from purchasing old machines from the market for refurbishment and resale to attracting customers who voluntarily bring their old machines for renovation.
With the smooth progress of localized refurbishment projects for polishing machines, the Chinese management team from KEDA India has prioritized the localized refurbishment of squaring & chamfering machines as the next important task.
Considering the more complex and challenging nature of refurbishing squaring & chamfering machines, this will be a new test for the local Indian team to achieve the fully localized refurbishment of polishing & squaring machinery.
To expedite project implementation, batches of Indian technical personnel are currently undergoing systematic training in China to enhance the team's technical capabilities and project efficiency.
