The new Tanzanian government continuously value and welcome foreign investment, and has increased its support for the industrial sector. KEDA (Tanzania) Ceramics Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "KEDA (Tanzania) Ceramics"), as one of the key investment enterprises under the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (Tanzania) (hereinafter referred to as the "MITI"), commenced the construction of a float glass plant in 2022, garnering significant attention from the Tanzanian government and relevant authorities.
Recently, a delegation led by Ms. Ashatu Kijaji, the Tanzanian Minister for MIIT, paid a visit to KEDA (Tanzania) Ceramics. The Director of the New Project Preparation Center at SUNDA International Group, Shankai YU, the General Manager of KEDA (Tanzania) Ceramics, Wan ZHANG, and the General Manager of SUNDA International Group Tanzania Trading, Qi ZHANG, accompanied the Minister during the visit.
During the meeting, the representatives of KEDA (Tanzania) Ceramics first introduced the investment history of KEDA Industrial Group and SUNDA International Group in Tanzania, the current investment status of existing factories, and the progress of the construction of the float glass plant. They expressed their deep feeling and profound gratitude to the Tanzanian government for improving the investment environment . They also expressed their vision and plans to further enhance investment in Tanzania in the future and hoped for continued robust support from the local government.
Tanzanian Minister for Investment, Industry and Trade, Ashatu Kijaji, first expressed her gratitude for the investments made by KEDA Industrial Group and SUNDA International Group in Tanzania. During the meeting, both parties engaged in extensive and in-depth communication, exchanging views on the development of KEDA Industrial Group and SUNDA International Group in Tanzania and the government's expectations for enterprises.
After the meeting, Ashatu Kijaji and her delegation visited the production line of KEDA (Tanzania) Ceramics, immersing themselves in the frontline operations, and offering heartfelt condolences to the production workers. They provided valuable guidance and recommendations concerning factory production and worker safety, expressing their appreciation for the employment opportunities the company has created in Tanzania.
By arranging this inspection and visit, the influence of KEDA (Tanzania) Ceramics has been enhanced in Tanzania, and the collaboration and interaction between the ceramic factory and the local government have been enriched.
