30 Jul 2025Recently, the flue gas purification project for Yunnan Honghe Electrolytic Aluminum, designed and executed by Henan KEDAneu International Engineering Co., Ltd., successfully completed 360 hours of continuous operation. All performance indicators met or exceeded the design standards.
Once fully operational, the project will boost Yunnan's electrolytic aluminum production capacity from 5.81 million tons to 6.5 million tons, making it the second largest in China. This marks a major milestone in the green and high-end transformation of China aluminum industry.
Henan KEDAneu's core flue gas purification technology aligns closely with the green development goals of the Honghe Industrial Park. Its innovative application in this project has delivered significant results.
The system adopts advanced adsorption and filtration processes, integrated with intelligent control technology, to significantly reduce energy consumption and fluoride salt use. It efficiently removes dust and harmful fluorides generated during aluminum smelting.
Following rigorous testing and commissioning, the system's emissions are well below China's environmental standards, effectively minimizing environmental impact and ensuring better air quality for surrounding communities.
