Its core segment—the torch relay—represents the unity and progressive spirit of the Tanzanian people.
Prior to the ceremony, the guests visited the building glass production line. Following the visit, General Manager, Mr. Zhifan WU delivered a speech and participated in the torch handover. He stated that it was a great honor and encouragement for Twyford Tanzania Glass to be chosen by the government as a stop for the Uhuru Torch Relay.

On behalf of Twyford Tanzania Glass , Mr. WU extended his sincere gratitude to the President, the Pwani Regional Commissioner, the Mkuranga District Commissioner, and surrounding communities for their continuous and strong support. He noted that Tanzania is a highly favorable country for investment, with abundant natural resources such as natural gas, coal, and sand, providing excellent conditions for glass production.
At the event, Mr. WU also announced encouraging news: the building glass produced by Twyford Tanzania Glass not only meets the Tanzania and East African market demands, but has also been successfully exported to Saudi Arabia, with orders received from the United States. This achievement fully demonstrates the vigorous development of industrial production in Tanzania, bringing great pride.
