18 Feb 2025The Twyford International delegation was warmly received by the University of Dodoma's President, Professor Kusiluka, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Lukuna, and the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Sari.
Professor Kusiluka extended a warm welcome to the Twyford International delegation and expressed deep gratitude for the company's longstanding support of the university.
He emphasized that Twyford International, one of Tanzania's most renowned companies, has made significant contributions to the country's industrialization efforts. The university plans to strengthen its future cooperation with Twyford International.
Under the framework of their signed cooperation agreement, they aim to make breakthroughs in talent development, targeted employment, and professional teacher training.
Mr. Junting TANG, General Manager of the Twyford Tanzania Ceramics, introduced the company's main business activities in Africa and outlined its plans for future development.
He stated that Twyford International will continue to enhance collaboration with the Confucius Institute at the University of Dodoma in talent development, offering more internship and job opportunities for students. Additionally, Twyford International will regularly invite university faculty to provide technical training for employees, fostering mutual growth.
As part of the event, the Twyford International delegation participated as an honored guest in the Chinese New Year Gala hosted by the Confucius Institute at the University of Dodoma.
During the event's donation ceremony, Twyford International contributed sanitary ware products and materials worth 10 million Tanzanian shillings to support the renovation and expansion of the university’s teaching facilities.
