KEDA Ceramic Machinery’s Continuous Ball Mill and Multi-Section Swing Polishing Machine Make Their Debut in Indonesia

Recently, the new glazed tile production line built by KEDA Ceramic Machinery for PT. SURYA MULTI CEMERLANG, a leading Indonesian ceramics company, was successfully fired up.

Founded in 1971, PT. Platinum Ceramics Industry (PT PCI) is one of Indonesia’s top tile manufacturers. As a sister company of PT PCI and the first ceramic company in Indonesia to introduce modern automated tile production lines, PT. SURYA MULTI CEMERLANG previously installed 2 white-body glazed tile production lines entirely equipped with Italian machinery. This new line, however, marks the 1st time they have adopted a full set of KEDA Ceramic Machinery's equipment, making it the company’s 1st complete line to use a Chinese ceramic machinery brand.

This project features a complete suite of KEDA Ceramic Machinery's equipment, including two KD8518 presses, a 5-layer dryer, a glazing line, an energy-efficient wide-body kiln, a NC intelligent polishing line, an intelligent storage & transportation system, and a high-speed packaging line for large slabs. The production line can produce standard glazed tiles in sizes such as 600×600(mm) and 800×800(mm), as well as premium large slabs in sizes like 750×1500(mm) and 800×1600(mm). Additionally, the project marks the Indonesian debut of KEDA Ceramic Machinery’s new continuous ball mill and multi-section swing intelligent polishing machine. These innovations boost automation and intelligence across the entire line, helping the client save energy, lower costs, and improve product quality.
