The event was organized by the Western Regional Coordinating Council, with the support of the Government of Ghana, the Ghana Standards Authority, the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, and the Ghana Environmental Protection Agency.
In his speech, Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, the Minister of the Western Region of Ghana, highlighted the crucial role of trade and industry in driving sustainable development in the region. He promised to provide the best resources and opportunities for businesses in the Western Region and encouraged more companies to invest in the region.
The Western Regional Minister Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah congratulated Twyford Ghana Ceramics on its achievements and personally presented the awards.
The award ceremony was also attended by distinguished guests including Hon. Prince Hamid Armah, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Works and Housing; Hon. Andrew Egyapa Mercer, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture; Hon. George Mireku Duker, Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources; and Hon. Joseph Cudjoe, Minister of Public Enterprises.
The awards not only serve as a recognition for Twyford Ghana Ceramics but also as a motivating force.
