Warmth and Love Unite: KEDA Summer Camp for Employee's Children Wraps Up on a Joyful Note

In a bid to demonstrate its care for employees and society's concern for children, KEDA Industrial Group launched the "Happy KEDA, Joyful Growth" summer camp in its Foshan and Anhui bases, fostering a platform for positive and harmonious development.
 

KEDA Summer Camp for employees' children is a unique corporate philanthropic initiative aimed at enhancing the summer experience for employees' children. It allows children who stay behind in their far-off hometowns to reunite with their parents while simultaneously engaging in enjoyable learning activities during their summer vacation. Each year, KEDA tailors a series of educational programs for employees' children, offering a wide range of courses and activities, including fun mathematics, English, art, and sports. The goal is to stimulate children in various areas such as language, art, science, and sports, fostering their growth through play and learning.
 

The Foshan Summer Camp, hosted at Foshan Shunde Chencun Vocational and Technical School, wrapped up on a high note. With an emphasis on "fun" and "joy," the camp was led by teachers and teaching assistants from Beihang University. They presented a diverse range of enriching courses to the children, including Chinese, mathematics, English, aerospace studies, computer literacy, Go (board game) tutorials, and science experiments. Through engaging classroom contents and hands-on activities, the children not only expanded their knowledge and horizons but also developed important traits such as focus, perseverance, and patience. The camp sparked a genuine interest and passion for science and aerospace in the young participants. Over the course of just 10 days, the children forged deep bonds with their classmates and teachers, creating unforgettable memories of a unique summer vacation.
 


In addition to the interesting courses offered earlier by the teachers from Beihang University, as well as a badminton class, the Anhui base also invited graduate instructors from the School of Foreign Languages at Anhui University of Technology to create a customized "English Learning Week" for the children. Through activities like singing and conversational exercises, the instructors guided the children in practicing English pronunciation, mastering phonetic symbols, dividing words rhythmically, and participating in group performances. These laughter-filled sessions not only improved the children's English proficiency but also boosted their confidence in oral communication. On the last day, a delightful "closing barbecue party" marked the successful conclusion of the English Summer Camp.
