On the morning of June 4th, more than 30 elites from "2023 Kohler Global Ceramic Summit", including Brian Benson, Global Ceramic Production and Operations Director of Kohler, Josh LIU, Senior Operations Director of Kohler China Ceramics, Brian Keeley, Kitchen and Bath Business Operations Director for India and Europe, Marcelo Valdes, Ceramic Operations Director for Latin America, and John HUANG, General Manager of Foshan Kohler Co., Ltd., visited HLT&DLT Ceramics Machinery to exchange advanced technology. The purpose of this visit was to promote high-quality development in the global sanitary ware industry.

Accompanied by General Manager GUAN, the guests visited the production workshop of raw materials production lines, kilns and production workshop of dryers, DLT Smart Workshop, Green Technology Center, and HLT&DLT Smart Showroom.
 


During the discussion and exchange session, General Manager GUAN introduced the development strategy and planning of HLT&DLT Ceramics Machinery and the whole company in details. Meanwhile, he also shared the research and development road map and achievements of raw material machinery technology, kiln equipment technology, and zero-carbon combustion technology in the sanitary ware industry. Furthermore, the planning and implementation of intelligent factories for the sanitary ware industry was discussed with all. The attendees of "2023 Kohler Global Ceramic Summit" expressed their appreciation for the manufacturing capabilities and cutting-edge technology of HLT&DLT Ceramics Machinery. When talking about "Advanced Zero-carbon Combustion Technology", General Manager GUAN emphasized that as a representative of high-end Chinese kiln brands, DLT had always focused on the energy conservation and emission reduction of kiln and dryer in the ceramic industry, made its own contribution to low carbon, reduction of energy consumption and green development of the industry and assumed responsibility for social sustainable development. On December 27th, 2021, Foshan Xianhu Laboratory, Oceano Ceramics and DLT established the "Advanced Zero-Carbon Combustion Technology Joint Innovation and Research Center" together. Academician Yibing CHENG, a strategic scientist at Foshan Xianhu Laboratory, served as the center's director. Targeting the disruptive key technologies of zero-carbon combustion in ceramic kilns, the center would explore new directions for China's ceramic industry to achieve the carbon peak and neutrality targets.
 
After nearly a year of technical research and innovation, the world's first "zero-carbon fired ceramic tiles" were produced in pilot scale at Oceano Experimental Center on December 18th, 2022. The quality of the ceramic tiles met the enterprise standards and exceeded national standards. The on-site testing by a third-party environmental impact assessment agency showed that the exhaust emissions of kiln were in full conformity with national standards. The second pilot test was completed successfully on April 18th and 19th, 2023. Xianhu Laboratory was currently leading the large-scale verification and application of advanced low-carbon combustion technology in the field of ceramic production. The purpose was to promote the development of industrial kilns towards the direction of carbon reduction and even goals of zero carbon, and the realization of industrialization finally.
