Twyford International, the first Chinese-funded enterprise integrating industry and trade in Tanzania, proudly held a Donation and Partnership Event at Kisarawe Secondary School on April 17th, 2025. The occasion marked a major milestone in the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, localization, and its enduring support for education and community development.

Over 70 students, 50 parents, and more than 20 representatives from government agencies attended this activity.
The event began with invited guests from Twyford International, government representatives, and school officials touring the student dormitory, where Twyford-donated tiles had been installed. The visit showcased the tangible impact of the donation, setting the stage for the main event.

A ceremonial cheque worth TZS 10 million was signed jointly by the Guest of Honor and Twyford’s Sales Director, officially confirming the donation of tiles for dormitory construction.

Beyond infrastructure support, Twyford presented additional educational gifts, including: pens, notebooks, bags and so on. In appreciation, students presented a cultural performance to express their gratitude for the support & encouragement.
The Head of School officially welcomed all attendees, acknowledging Twyford's support and recognizing the significance of the event.
Twyford’s Marketing Manager delivered a heartfelt message, emphasizing the company's dedication to continuing its support of education and expressing gratitude for the partnership with Kisarawe District.

A representative gave a keynote speech on behalf of the District Commissioner, who was unavoidably absent. The government reiterated its appreciation for Twyford’s contribution and assured ongoing support in facilitating future investments & business cooperation.
This initiative has set a solid precedent for future community engagement events and reflects Twyford’s strategic commitment to the growth & development of Tanzanian society.
