On the morning of March 22nd, the ignition ceremony for the first phase of sanitary ware project at KEDA (Ghana) Ceramics Factory was solemnly held. Wenfeng PAN, Deputy General Manager of Africa Ceramics Headquarters of KEDA Group, Wei LI, General Manager of KEDA (Ghana) Ceramics Factory, Dejun ZHUO, Director of Sanitary Ware Factory and other leaders, project leaders, as well as department and workshop leaders, attended the ceremony.
One ceramic sanitary ware production line, covering an area of about 60 acres in total, had been built in the first phase of KEDA (Ghana) Ceramics Factory Sanitary Ware Project. The project was designed for a daily output of 4,000 ceramic sanitary wares and product types covering toilets, column basins and hanging basins required by the local and surrounding markets in Ghana, creating 600 jobs directly. The second phase of the sanitary ware project was in planning and preparation now.
Against the backdrop of the continuous deepening of "globalization" strategy and the gradual promotion of the "Pluralistic Building Materials" strategy of the company, KEDA (Ghana) Ceramics Factory had set up a new product category of ceramics sanitary ware and determined to provide more high-quality sanitary ware products to emerging market customers, to satisfy people's yearning for a better life in Ghana and Africa.
The completion of Phase I and the start of operation were of great significance. Firstly, the company had achieved horizontal expansion in diversified fields from architectural ceramics to sanitary wares, with new breakthroughs in categories, production lines and capacity; Secondly, it indicated that the company highly recognized the markets in Ghana and Africa and was willing to grow, make progress and share the results together with upstream and downstream partners in the industrial chain; Thirdly, it embodied that the company had supported the "industrialization" policy of Ghanaian government and made contribution to the industrialization process of Ghana with actual deeds; Fourthly, the company had created jobs, provided skill training, achieved technology transfer and effectively fulfilled social responsibilities.
It is reported that DLT, a subsidiary of the HLT&DLT brand, had undertaken the construction of tunnel kiln for KEDA (Ghana) Ceramics Factory Sanitary Ware Phase I project.
KEDA planned two ceramic tile production lines in Cameroon, with a designed capacity of 60,000 square meters per day and products covering full specifications of ceramic tiles, floor tiles and glazed tiles. Leveling of on-site land had been completed now and two lines were expected to be put into operation by the end of 2023 or at the beginning of 2024.
Senegal Ceramic Tile Project K3 Line:
The K3 line in KEDA (Senegal) Ceramics Factory planned a production capacity of 36,000 square meters per day. The equipment of whole line from KEDA Ceramic Machinery had been installed and debugged completely and the production is planned to start on March 30th. When the K3 line was put into operation, the daily production capacity of 100,000 square meters in total could be realized on three lines in KEDA (Senegal) Ceramics Factory.
Cote d'Ivoire Ceramic Tile Project:
The land and relevant documents for the K1 production line of the KEDA (Cote d'Ivoire) Ceramics Factory project had been handled and the project was about to start. The project planned a capacity of 13.3 million square meters per year and to use whole production line from KEDA Ceramic Machinery, which was expected to be put into operation officially in 2024.
