To promote the construction of talents team of the company, cultivate and reserve business management talents, KEDA Industrial Group and Sun Yat-sen University jointly created the 2023 KEDA Industrial Group (Guangdong Base) Potential Young Talents Training Program. The training program was launched at Sun Yat-sen University ceremoniously on February 18th. Xuexian YANG, General Manager of KEDA Industrial Group, Hongying QIU, GM Assistant, Yuanhong YANG, Dean of the School of Continuing Education at Sun Yat-sen University, Ou ZHUO, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Management at Lingnan College, and 45 students attended the ceremony.
The ceremony began with the inspiring "Song of KEDA" and the solemn school song of Sun Yat-sen University.
Then, Dean Yang delivered the opening words, warmly welcoming the arrival of 45 students. The training program commissioned by KEDA Industrial Group to Sun Yat-sen University demonstrated the great importance attached to the cultivation of potential talents by KEDA leaders and their forward thinking about the future development of the company. Sun Yat-sen University had also selected carefully a team of teachers that was highly compatible with the company's talent development strategy to carry out this training.
At the same time, Dean Yang introduced the history and discipline construction of Sun Yat-sen University, and encouraged the students to be practitioners of the school motto of "Study Extensively, Enquire Accurately, Reflect Carefully, Discriminate Clearly, Practice Earnestly" and refined pursuers of truth, as well as the creators of social welfare and national glory. He hoped that the students were able to live up to the promise of their youth and the expectations of our times and acquire achievements from their studies at Sun Yat-sen University.
Xuexian YANG, General Manager of KEDA Industrial Group, delivered a class opening speech at the ceremony. He said that despite three years of pandemic and significant challenges to the global economy and market environment, KEDA Industrial Group still achieved the best performance in history in three consecutive years. Especially in 2022. the company achieved the best performance in the 30 years since the establishment of the company. This cannot do without the forward-looking strategy of the company's founder, chairman and other leaders, as well as the hard work of all staff. The company made a strategic plan for the next five years in 2022. While now, the biggest bottleneck is not the lack of capital and market, but the lack of talent. To support the implementation of the company's strategic goal, the company made arrangement on key areas, continued to recruit high-level talents, and focused on the key talents cultivation and echelon building internally.
Through the training program, Mr. Yang hoped that all students could acquire an international outlook, improve their business management thinking way and combine the cutting-edge business concepts they have learned, to support the strategic development of the company strongly. Mr. Yang pointed out that all students have been through layers of selection and so were expected to study earnestly, cherish opportunities and balance the relationship between learning and work during the training; Learning is a way of thinking. It is important to notice the differences between theory and practice and apply what they have learned, and the application shall be combined with the practice, not by rote. Finally, GM Yang hoped that everyone would straighten out their minds, study and work hard, and seize more opportunities for growth through their own efforts.
As the mentor of class, Professor Zhuo spoke at the ceremony and pointed out that the fundamental purpose of the KEDA Industrial Group Potential Young Talents Training Program is to cultivate a team of key persons and urgently-needed talents required for the future development of KEDA Industrial Group and to create an excellent talent team with abundant business knowledge and skills, comprehensive practical experience and knowledge of operation management.
Speaking as a delegate of the trainees, Lili XIA said that it was a fate, an honor and a responsibility for everyone to participate in this training. They would cherish and seize the hard-won opportunities of learning, growth and communication, devote themselves to learning and training and improve personal comprehensive abilities comprehensively. The training could help them widen their vision, put what they have learned into practice and benchmark themselves against the needs of high-quality talents required by the company, with a purpose of making contribution to the development of the company!
As a key talent training project organized by the company, the 2023 KEDA Industrial Group (Guangdong Base) Potential Young Talents Training Program is spanning from February to October, with personnel comprehensive assessment, core courses of MBA, cross-border learning and Action Learning Program as the main training content. The face-to-face and benchmark learning in the first class will help students build systematic thinking logic and the Action Learning, topic discussion and completion report in the second class will help students solve problems of knowledge transformation and team culture construction. All the trainees are expected to improve their comprehensive business management capabilities through this training and to provide strong support for the company's development.
